Default 1986 Spider Veloce rear wheel bearings

How do I get to these little suckers to replace? What do I do after I remove the brake rotor? I'm sure the axle "pops" out - just not sure how.

I love Italian cooking and they make incredibly good-looking cars. However, when it comes to publishing factory service manuals .........

Have you unbolted the rear axel, there should be four bolts that surround the axel, these need to be removed so that the axel "pops out". The manual does cover this aspect of removal and replacement.

When you are replacing the bearings, before you put everything back together, make sure that while you have it apart, to take the dust shields, have them powder coated, not only will it lend a nicer appearance, but allow them to last longer and avoid rusting. Doing a ground up on my 88' Spider Veloce and anything that I could have powder coated I had done. It gave the suspension a much cleaner look.

Default Thanks

I discovered problem was bearings in differential. Am addressing that now.

Also, I would get rid of that blue letter font. Makes it much too difficult to read print.
